APRON STRINGS

This series is a loving and reflective observation of my parents, our relationship and the anxieties and emotions we face as we begin to watch ourselves, and each other age. The title ‘Apron Strings’ refers to the overwhelming pull and emotions I have felt towards my family home and parents as I have grown older. At the heart of this work exists an unconditional love and tenderness. A desire to slow down time and obsessively photography my parents. ‘Apron Strings’ is, in many ways a love letter. To my parents, my family home and my childhood.
